About The Project

When Germeen approached us, she wanted to leverage YouTube to build authority and visibility for her nonprofit firm, focusing on QuickBooks tutorials and related financial management topics. Despite having valuable content, her channel lacked the visibility and engagement she desired. The Challenge

Before working with us, Germeen relied heavily on LinkedIn. Carrie had an existing channel before working with us but hadn’t invested in any strategy. We partnered with her to help her reach these goals:

  • Be found on YouTube and Google search by Nonprofit leaders searching for help with Accounting

  • Drive consistent traffic to her educational videos.

  • Grow her subscriber base and strengthen community engagement.

Germeen indicated she wanted to be found in searches specifically relating to Nonprofit Accounting, so we researched what keywords users were actively searching for and ways we could insert her expertise. During this time we also identified high-impact keywords related to QuickBooks and nonprofit financial management.

YouTube Content Strategy

We created video topics that aligned with the stages of awareness a Nonprofit leader would be in a while trying to solve their accounting pain point.

YouTube Channel And Video Optimization

We optimized each video using YouTube SEO best practices to increase Germeen’s chances of being categorized as a Nonprofit Accounting and Quickbooks Online education channel and to have her content suggested to the right audience. Each of Germeen’s videos has an engaging thumbnail, and keyword-rich titles, tags, and video descriptions.

The End Result

After almost 2 years of working together, our strategy generated a 741% increase in views and a 1600% increase in her channel subscriber growth

Top Performing Videos: Videos on QuickBooks for nonprofits garnered the most views, with the top video reaching 13.6K views.

Traffic Sources: Major traffic from YouTube search (31.1%) and suggested videos (29.7%), indicating effective SEO and content strategy.
